A great deal has happened since planning permission was granted towards the end of 2016, which was followed this autumn with the approval of the proposed detailed design.

Interest in the outlet village has been high, not least from designer labels looking to be located at Mill Green.  

Giles Membrey, MD for Rioja Developments, explains: “In the past few months we’ve focused on making enhancements to the development’s detailed design; securing big brands; talking to potential funding partners, and seeking a building contractor in readiness for a start on site.

It’s all moving forward nicely and we’re looking forward to making some announcements in the New Year.”

It is now anticipated that a start on construction will be made in late spring of 2018, with a completion by end of 2020.
